We want to shout it from the rooftop: The Aerolase Neo Elite Laser is finally at Pur Aesthetics & Wellness! Michiana – we can’t wait to share! The best laser and the best medspa! This technology isn’t available anywhere else locally.
We are so passionate about technology and giving our clients the best care & services….we knew we had to have an Aerolase Laser at Pur Aesthetics & Wellness.
Technology is always changing, right? Well, Aerolase isn’t like moving from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 13….It’s like moving from a wall phone to an iPhone 13!
Let’s talk all things Aerolase Laser!
Here are the top questions we’ve been hearing since we started with Aerolase treatments!
1. What is the Aerolase Laser?
This is a laser that uses really special light: it’s high-intensity, pulsed light. That light has a highly targeted wavelength (we can change the wavelength) and focus on certain types of tissue. This means we can treat the issues and leave your healthy tissue intact.
Aerolase has a 650-microsecond pulse duration (which might not mean too much), but the bottom line is – that it’s a LOT shorter than other lasers: So deep tissue can be penetrated & energy can be used effectively and efficiently. We also love that those short light pulses mean the pain is non-existent or minimal. There is minimal downtime, too. No more numbing skin or using cooling agents.
2. Who is a Candidate for Aerolase treatment?
Finally, every beautiful skin color can get laser therapy! Other lasers are bad news for people with darker skin tones. It usually ended up with subpar results or worse: more discoloration! The technology in the Aerolase Laser makes it possible for everyone to see improvement in skin conditions.
And it doesn’t matter if you’re a teen with acne or a client who’s seen a few more years…we love that Aerolase is gentle: gone are the skin-numbing days of lasers. The cooling system is protective of skin tissue.
3. What Conditions Can I Treat With Aerolase?
The Aerolase Laser is FDA-approved to treat 36 different skin conditions! You read that right!
Here’s the tip of the iceberg; what you might want to treat and how Aerolase can help.
-
Acne: We know exactly what light will kill the bacteria that causes acne. You can expect less inflammation and fewer breakouts in the future.
-
Hyperpigmentation: Light is absorbed by pigmented cells, which breaks them down, removing the excess melanin that causes dark spots and uneven skin tone.
-
Rosacea: Light energy can reduce inflammation and decrease redness and visible blood vessels.
-
Scars: We know exactly what light can be used to stimulate collagen production, thus helping to improve the appearance of scars.
-
Wrinkles: Aerolase is smart enough to stimulate collagen production, which can help the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
-
Unwanted Hair: Light energy emitted is absorbed by the melanin in hair follicles, destroying the hair at the root, and preventing regrowth.
-
Vascular Lesions: Light is absorbed by blood vessels, they constrict, reducing the appearance of spider veins and other vascular conditions
At Pur we see a lot of skin conditions, skin textures and colors….and we love the versatility of the Aerolase system.
So here’s the recap:
-
Aerolase can treat so many skin conditions: 36 (and counting!)
-
Every skin type & every skin color is a candidate for Aerolase treatment
-
Expect minimal pain and minimal downtime
-
You might see results after 1 session: but most people should expect multiple sessions, usually separated by 4-6 weeks
-
Aerolase is the gold standard in laser care, and Pur Aesthetics and Wellness is the only Medspa around that has this treatment
4. And the last question you might have….How can you connect with Pur Aesthetics and get a personalized Aerolase treatment plan? What should you expect now?
Aerolase is a highly specialized device – our staff underwent extensive training to learn the best ways to use Aerolase. Each person will have different issues and goals, so we make each Aerolase plan unique.
We also love how Aerolase treatment can combine with medspa skin treatments you already love from Pur! That’s right – we can continue your Botox/Filler injections and add Aerolase sessions. You do not have to pick one or the other. Imagine: your rosacea being treated by Aerolase & lines being smoothed with neurotoxins. Talk about skin confidence!
